Solid Hardwood Chairs 

These are the stunning Norfolk Oak Shaker Style Chairs. Made from the finest solid American hardwoods, they are constructed using traditional techniques such as mortice and tenon joints, inside cleats and steam bending to create the wonderful curves.

The way the curves are made is extremely important in fact; in mass produced chairs, the curve is created by cutting the desired shape from a piece of wood, which exposes the end grain all down the length of the curve. This will eventually give way and split.

These wooden chairs are available both with and without arms in either Cherry, Oak or Walnut.
