You will immediately notice these Oak ‘Traditional Plank’ worktops are completely different to any other retailer. Constructed with large planks 1200 – 1800 mm long and 90 – 140 mm wide, they are just stunning. In fact this style of worktop is unique to Norfolk Oak. The quality of timber required to make these oak worktops is the quite simply the finest; FAS or furniture grade. Expensive, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. That said, by the time the complete kitchen is done, those few extra pounds for the worktops compared to the overall cost will look like a bargain when you consider the impact these worktops will have every day. The quality will always be apparent long after the price has been forgotten.

Our Oak comes from the Northern Appalachian Mountain region of Vermont and New York State, famous for the fabulous ‘fall foliage’ where the autumnal leaf colours are quite amazing. This area is famous in the cabinet making industry for the very finest American White Oak, so it was a natural choice for us to be that specific. The delicate ‘feathering’ you can only get with American White Oak proved simply irresistible.

As the actual manufacturer, we control every step of the manufacturing process, from the selection of each individual tree, to the delivery of the finished worktop. Not only does this make us unique, it gives us the depth of knowledge to really understand customers needs, and how we can fulfill their dreams.
