Solid Walnut Worktops Norfolk Oak designs and manufactures the most beautiful solid Walnut worktops. Constructed using the finest furniture grade North American Black Walnut, with its dark, rich colour and stunning grain structure, it is vastly superior to European Walnut. Please read our About Walnut page to learn why our American Black Walnut is simply in a league of its own.
Our Walnut kitchen worktops are available in three different styles; Constructed using long, continuous, clean planks that run the entire length of the worktop. Our single wide stave worktops consist of random width staves varying between 90 mm and 140 mm in width. Typically you can expect to find between 5 and 7 staves in one of our standard 636 mm wide worktops. As with all our worktops, any width is possible. However the maximum length is rarely longer than 4 metres due to the difficulty in finding such clean, high grade timber at these lengths. That said, longer sizes are available given advanced notice. A style unique to Norfolk Oak. Constructed using long, wide planks with a maximum of 2 joins per stave length of 3 metres. As with our single wide stave, our traditional plank worktops consist of random width staves varying between 90 mm and 140 mm in width, with individual stave lengths of approximately 1200 mm to 1800 mm. A Norfolk Oak Butcher's Block Worktop is unique. Consisting of beautiful, wide staves of random widths between 55 mm and 90 mm - very different from the 40 mm or narrower staves used in lesser quality 'match stick' style worktops. You can expect to find around 8 to 10 staves across the width of one of our standard 636 mm wide butcher's block worktops - each one constructed with the same furniture grade timber used for all our worktops. We can bespoke cut almost any size of worktop, however please find below as a guide our prices for our 3000 mm x 636 mm walnut worktops. All our worktops are 45 mm thick as standard and all prices include VAT.
