Norfolk Oak Worktops

A Norfolk Oak solid hardwood worktop is a work of art. The deliberation, design and detail which goes into one of worktops is unique, as is our control over the whole process; from felling each tree to the finished worktop.

A Norfolk Oak worktop is quite unlike any other mass produced kitchen worktop. All of our worktops are made from the finest furniture grade North American hardwoods deep in the Northern Appalachian mountains of New England - Norfolk Oak worktops are simply stunning.

With three different styles ranging from Classic Butcher's Block to wide full length planks, in Oak, Walnut, Cherry and Maple, a Norfolk Oak worktop is the ultimate finish to any kitchen.

 Worktop Styles

Single Wide Stave Worktops

Constructed using long, continuous, clean planks that run the entire length of the worktop. Our single wide stave worktops consist of random width staves varying between 90 mm and 140 mm in width. Typically you can expect to find between 5 and 7 staves in one of our standard 636 mm wide worktops.

Traditional Plank Worktops

A style unique to Norfolk Oak. Constructed using long, wide planks with a maximum of 2 joins per stave length of 3 metres. As with our single wide stave, our traditional plank worktops consist of random width staves varying between 90 mm and 140 mm in width, with individual stave lengths of approximately 1200 mm to 1800 mm.

Butcher's Block Worktops

A Norfolk Oak Butcher's Block Worktop is unique. Consisting of beautiful, wide staves of random widths between 55 mm and 90 mm - very different from the 40 mm or narrower staves used in lesser quality 'match stick' style worktops. You can expect to find around 8 to 10 staves across the width of one of our standard 636 mm wide butcher's block worktops.
