'Drop-down' mitred end panels
For something extra special, consider a 45 degree mitred end panel - something of a Norfolk Oak specialty. A great way to finish the ends of your kitchen units in a contemporary kitchen. Use at both ends of an island unit for a really bold statement. more information >
Shown here on the right is a mitred end panel with Walnut Super Stave Worktops. This end panel has been produced from the same planks of Walnut used for the top worksurface so that the grain continues from the top and down the panel. The result really does look amazing - so much more than just a worksurface, it takes on the appearance of a piece of designer furniture.

From CAD diagrams to the finished article.
Back to top ∧Once you are happy with your worktop shapes and sizes and have placed your order, its time to start manufacturing. However, before any wood is cut we produce a detailed CAD diagram for any bespoke designs. This allows you to fully inspect the final sizes of your worktops, making sure everything is as expected, effectively signing off the diagram before production starts.
Shown here on the right is one of our typical CAD diagrams. It shows details such as overall worktop dimensions as well as sink cutout sizes. Once the customer was happy with this, the diagram was used as the fabrication plan by our workshops to produce the worktop shown below.
