A Norfolk Oak Super Stave Worktop is unique. You will immediately notice these Walnut Super Stave worktops are completely different to any other retailer. Constructed with large planks which run the entire length of the worktop, they are quite stunning.

Norfolk Oak is the only company to make Walnut Super Stave Worktops 4 metres long with single planks, so you can imagine the quality of timber required to make these worktops must be simply the finest; FAS or furniture grade. Only by running enormous quantities of this FAS Walnut timber do we find enough planks to make a handful of these worktops. Indeed, from 100 tons of FAS grade Walnut timber, which itself has already been selected from 750 tons of raw Walnut, we only get enough to make a handful of these super long worktops. Each walnut worktop is unique.

Our Walnut comes from Wisconsin where long hot summers and cold harsh winters combine to help make the wonderful grain structure of the Walnut achieve such depth and figuring it is no wonder it is so well sought after. As the actual manufacturer, we control every step of the manufacturing process, from the selection of each individual tree, to the delivery of the finished worktop. Our Walnut samples are approximately 400 mm by 300 mm and arrive fully oiled and finished. This level of finishing, together with their large size, provide an excellent display of the beauty and quality of our wood. They also make great chopping boards when you are finished with them!
