Norfolk oak supplies wooden kitchen worktops, as well as that we also supply hardwood furniture, kitchens and mouldings. Within our mouldings section there are four categories; skirting board, architrave, window boards and stair parts.
Skirting boards: there are roughly eight different styles to choose from. Oak is our most popular timber as it possesses a gorgeous grain and has great durability. Though there is the alternative decision of other timbers, on request.
The styles provided:
– Square
– Round
– Ogee
– Torus
– Ovolo
Skirting boards are 19mm thick and 70mm tall as standard, but can be any size you need. If you have an existing skirting board you wish us to match, we do our best to help fit. To be able to do this, we ask for a small section of your current skirting board, so that it is possible to match together the timbers and style; which we then create using CAD. It is appreciated if you’d like to send in your own drawings or CAD Designs, to help give us a better understanding of the exact styling.
Architrave is very similar to skirting board, it possesses all the same timbers and styles. It is typically used as framing around windows and doors. The style is very much the same, so if you wish to match your skirting board; please do not hesitate to mention. Again we can make your architrave and skirting boards to any dimensions you require.
We also craft hard wooden window boards. Our luxurious American White Oak window boards come with a round profile, with its tight intricate grain patterns and durability. The window boards are dried slowly, as it will help the timber meet maximum stability and sustainability. All Norfolk Oak products are created in our workshops within Norfolk, United Kingdom.
If the window boards are not to your specification, for instance the thickness or width is not within our website, then we encourage for you to contact us for a bespoke quote.
